In creating this pair the goal was to keep it minimalist, to render a connection with nature while creating whimsical setting for birds. This creates an opportunity to being calmness to the environment it is displayed in. Intentionally framed in opposing colored frames to prevent too much of a matchy-matchy look.
The 3D aspect produces shadows of the birds and the fence and other features. The shadows rendered by the layers brings the viewer one step away from being able to hear the birds sing. 3D is the way the world is, and through 3D art one can experience the outdoors while inside.
It celebrates the difference of 3D as opposed to working on a single canvas. The layered effect of the glass or high definition acrylic offers a new visual context in which the viewer connects with the vision of the artist.
