Broadway – South Granville just south of Downtown Vancouver is a mature community to call home. It boasts of some of best rental areas in Vancouver – albeit it prohibitively expensive because of its location and the tight rental market. It offers some of the closest to Downtown Vancouver, older but well kept rental apartments. It is a community where the spirit of the community is palpable. That inspired this painting.
