In creating this tree the goal was to keep it minimalist, to render a connection with nature while creating lightness and whimsy. This creates an opportunity to being calmness to the environment it is displayed in.
The 3D aspect of the design gives a sense of being in the environment — not just an observer. The shadows rendered by the layers brings the viewer one step away from being able to hear the birds sing. 3D is the way the world is, and through 3D art one can experience the outdoors while inside.
